Iran’s Top General Warns of Stronger Retaliation Against ‘israel’ if Aggression Resumes

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces has issued a stern warning, stating that 'israel' will face a more severe response if it engages in further acts of aggression against Iran.

In an interview with Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen TV channel on Wednesday, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi asserted that the Iranian Armed Forces have yet to deploy their full capabilities in response to the Israeli-US attack that occurred last month.

“The Israeli authorities faced a significant setback in their latest actions against Iran. We caution that any repetition of such errors will result in a more severe response from the Iranian nation and its Armed Forces,” he stated.

Mousavi highlighted that the Israelis and their allies have been amassing their strength over the years, aiming to deliver a significant blow to the Islamic Republic.

Iran’s adversaries are reportedly attempting to undermine the Islamic Republic and sow discord within the nation, leveraging the nuclear issue as a justification, according to statements made.

On June 13, Israel commenced a significant operation against Iran, resulting in the targeted killing of numerous high-ranking military officials, nuclear scientists, and ordinary citizens.

Over a week after initial developments, the United States launched airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, an action deemed a serious breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces launched strikes on strategic locations within the occupied territories, in addition to targeting the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, known as the largest U.S. military installation in the West Asia region.

On June 24, Iran effectively carried out retaliatory actions against Israel and the United States, successfully bringing an end to the unauthorized attacks.

A high-ranking military official stated that the Israeli regime sought a ceasefire in order to restructure its strategic operations.

He issued a warning stating that should the conflict enter a new phase and become protracted, the Israeli occupiers will encounter Iran’s capabilities that have thus far remained unused.

Mousavi emphasized that Tehran remains steadfast in upholding its core tenets, particularly its unwavering support for Palestine and its citizens.
