Iran Launches Intensified Assaults on Zionist State in Prolonged 12-Day Conflict

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared that his nation effectively countered the air and ground initiatives of the Zionist entity during a 12-day conflict. He accused the Zionist regime of initiating the hostilities but emphasized that they were met with strong retaliation.

During a ceremony in Tehran’s Grand Mossala on Wednesday, held in remembrance of senior Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists who were assassinated on June 13, the parliament speaker asserted that Iran’s armed forces had decisively dismantled the Zionist entity from the early days of conflict in the north, south, and east.

Ghalibaf emphasized that despite the adversary’s belief that the honorable people of Iran were faltering, the nation remained united in the face of Israeli hostilities and emerged triumphant.

In other parts of his speech, the Speaker of Parliament highlighted the formidable capabilities of the Iranian armed forces, noting that a single Iranian ballistic missile had struck a critical defense stronghold in Be’er Sheva in the southern part of the occupied territories, demonstrating the advanced military power of Iran.

Several prominent figures within American academia argue that the Zionist regime’s survival relies heavily on unwavering U.S. support. They have noted that, bolstered by direct American assistance, the Israeli regime recently launched an attack on Iran, which was met with a swift and decisive retaliation from Tehran.

Earlier, Ghalibaf emphasized that Iranians are steadfast in defending their homeland, asserting that traitors and mercenaries will be relegated to the annals of history.

In a recent escalation, Israeli forces launched a 12-day aggressive campaign against Iran beginning on June 13, targeting military, nuclear, and residential areas. Subsequently, on June 22, the United States intervened with military strikes on three of Iran’s key nuclear sites located in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.

In a sudden and unprovoked assault, Israel launched an offensive against Iran, targeting residential areas in Tehran, overnight on June 13. High-ranking military officials in Iran were killed in precise attacks, while civilian casualties were reported after homes were hit directly. The impact of the strikes was felt across entire population centers.
