Senior Clerics Pledge Unyielding Support for Leader

In a show of unity, 102 prominent clerics and seminary professors from Qom have released a statement expressing their unwavering support for Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

A group of signatories, predominantly scholars specializing in advanced Islamic jurisprudence and theology, have expressed their unwavering commitment to defending the position of Ayatollah Khamenei. These figures have pledged to respond to any affronts against the Ayatollah with a willingness to sacrifice both breath and life in the realm of Jihad.

Iran’s military actions against Israel have been described as historic strikes, fueled by a belief in divine promises and the guidance of their Leader. The signatories cautioned opponents against targeting the Leader, stating that such threats would only provoke stronger responses from the Shia community.

Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, a prominent Shia cleric in Iran, has issued a religious edict, known as a fatwa, stating that any person or regime posing a threat to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and religious authority (Marja’) is committing Moharebeh, a term in Islamic jurisprudence that refers to waging war against God.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s participation in a public ceremony commemorating the martyrdom of the third Shia imam has been met with extensive acclaim from senior Iranian officials and political leaders, who highlighted the nation’s unity and steadfastness in the face of external challenges.
