Meshaal extends condolences over death of Fatah leader
Political bureau chairman of Hamas Khaled Mishaal extended his condolences over the death of Khaled Al-Hassan, a Fatah leader, to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas in a telephone contact on Friday night.
Meshaal had earlier extended his condolences to the sons of the deceased, who was a former member of the central committee in Fatah faction, at their home in Amman, to Salim Al-Zanoun, the chairman of the Palestinian national council, and to members of the central committee.
Hamas had extended its condolences to the Palestinian people and the family of the deceased in a statement on Friday shortly after his death in one of the Jordanian hospitals.
Al-Hassan, 75, was one of the co-founders of Fatah in the sixties of the past century.
