The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei Meets Cabinet Members on Last Day of Tour

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei paid tribute to martyrs of the city of Bojnourd in North Khorasan during his tour of the northeastern Iran province which began on October 10.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei visited the graves of martyrs in the city on Tuesday night marking their memory by reciting verses of the Holy Qur’an.

As part of the tour, the Supreme Leader has met with people, local officials, families of martyrs, military forces, clerics, students, and scholars of the province.

On Wednesday, the last day of his week-long visit to this northeastern province, The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei received members of the cabinet.

His eminence instructed cabinet members on better settlement of provincial problems.

Earlier on Wednesday, members of the Iranian cabinet held a meeting presided by First Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi who chaired the gathering in the absence of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad is currently in Kuwait to attend the first summit of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).
