Syrian deputy foreign minister visits Iran

Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Meqdad arrived in Tehran early on Saturday to hold talks with Iranian officials.
He was welcomed by a number of Foreign Ministry officials upon his arrival.

Meqdad visited Moscow on December 27 and held talks with Russian officials about the crisis in Syria.
