Aliens seeking to sow discord among Muslims
Three Iranian Sunni scholars accused certain foreign countries of continued attempts to create a rift between the Shiite and Sunni Muslims.
“Creating rift and discord is the main target of the foreign enemies,” member of Iran’s Experts Assembly Molavi Nazir Ahmad Salami told FNA on Saturday.
“Obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei) is the best way to establish unity between the two Shiites and Sunnites,” Salami reiterated.
Also, Sheikh Abdulkarim Mohammadi, a Sunni scholar from the southern province of Hormozgan, said that the Iranian government is playing a main and vital role in creating unity among people.
He urged all Islamic governments to further underline their commonalities, saying Muslim states should also strive to further deepen relations.
The Sunni scholar further stressed that Shiites and Sunnis should avoid radical comments in a bid to protect and maintain their unity.
Mamousta Mohammad Amin Rasti, a Sunni scholar from the western Iranian province of Kurdistan, sent a message of unity for all Muslims in the world and called for their tolerance and mildness towards each other.
