A senior Iranian military official announces Iran possesses weaponry that remains undisclosed to its adversaries

A senior Iranian military official has announced that the nation possesses undisclosed weapons systems that remain unknown to its adversaries.

Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, stated on Sunday that the ongoing military exercises are intended to showcase the armed forces’ capabilities in response to potential threats.

A spokesperson informed reporters that previously undisclosed weaponry, which the adversary is unaware of, might be tested during upcoming military exercises.

He stated that the Iranian Armed Forces have consistently conducted exercises aimed at enhancing their combat capabilities across multiple domains, thereby ensuring the nation’s state of defense preparedness.

Iran is not only vigilant about the actions of its adversaries, but also keeps a close watch on regional developments and the military exercises of the Islamic Republic, Ashtiani stated.

He stated, “Our aim is to enhance peace, stability, and tranquility in the region. Consequently, these exercises serve as a testament to our preparedness.”

He reaffirmed that the Iranian Armed Forces are closely monitoring and maintaining control over all developments in the region.

The senior commander declared that any unreasonable demands, deviations, or misconceptions presented by adversaries will be actively countered.

On the day that Iranian military forces initiated new exercises in the western and northern air defense zones, including areas such as Fordow and Khondab known for their uranium enrichment and heavy water facilities, Ashtiani delivered his remarks.

The military exercises, referred to as Eqtedar in Farsi, have commenced in authentic combat settings, with the Army’s air defense forces playing a pivotal role under the direction of the nation’s unified air defense network.

The exercises are designed to assess the operational efficiency and combat preparedness of Iran’s air defense systems in response to potential adversarial attacks.

In January, the Ground Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) conducted an extensive and specialized military exercise, codenamed Payambar-e-A’azam (Great Prophet) 19, in the western province of Kermanshah, Iran. This operation was part of ongoing efforts to enhance its combat readiness and address potential security challenges facing the nation.
