President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the UN-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan discussed latest developments in the region in a meeting held at Qeshm Island airport in southern Iran.
During talks, the two sides reviewed regional and global developments mainly the crisis in Syria.
The UN-Arab League envoy upon his arrival in Tehran conferred with Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on regional developments.
