Ahmadinejad lauds Iran’s great oil achievements

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday Iran has experienced great achievements in oil industry in recent years.

The President made the remarks in a ceremony to inaugurate some 14 oil projects in Lavan Island in the southern province of Hormuzgan.
According to IRNA, he said Iran’s oil industry was totally dependent in the past and all its equipment were imported,.
The President noted thanks to Iranian experts in the oil industry, the country has become an exporter of oil technical and engineering services.
President Ahmadinejad arrived in Lavan Island this morning to open several development projects.
According to website of Presidential Office, President Ahmadinejad was welcomed by a number of local officials upon arrival.
Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi was accompanying the President.
