Air Force committed to safeguarding Iran’s security with full strength, commander asserts

Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, Commander of the Iranian Air Force, asserted that diligent Air Force leaders are staunchly committed to safeguarding the nation's security with utmost determination.

During a graduation ceremony for pilots at Shahid Fakouri Airbase in Tabriz, it was announced that the pilots and technical personnel of the Iranian Air Force have made significant advancements in their field, despite facing international sanctions.

Brigadier General Vahedi highlighted the crucial role played by the Iranian Air Force in maintaining national security, underscoring that its pilots are steadfastly committed to protecting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity with unwavering strength.

The commander of Iran’s Air Force highlighted the long-standing tradition of the people of Tabriz in pioneering support for the revolution and the governing doctrine of jurisprudence. He noted that the Shahid Fakouri Airbase in Tabriz remains a key strategic point in the defense of the nation’s airspace.

During the ceremony, veterans from the eight-year Sacred Defense conflict, the Iraqi-imposed war against Iran from 1980 to 1988, were honored alongside the esteemed families of martyrs. Additionally, pilots and technical staff from the airbase received recognition for their services.
