Al-Halqi: Restoring Security to al-Qseir Strategic Turning Point

Prime Minister, Dr. Wael al-Halqi said that restoring security and stability to al-Qseir area is a ”strategic turning point and a prelude to successive victories all over Syria, and marks the failure of the conspiracy and those who backed the armed terrorist groups financially or morally.”

Al-Halqi’s remarks came during a meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with implementing the political program for solving the crisis in Syria with members of the Veterinarians Syndicate and the Syndicate of Syrian Agronomist Engineers on Wednesday.

”As we recall the Israeli aggression in June 1967, we stress that the time of defeats is over…and the time of lies that were almost blown into myths is over, as the dreams of the conspirators against Syria went up in smoke, ” Premier al-Halqi added.

Al-Halqi affirmed that the qualitative achievement in al-Qseir will be the starting point for restoring security and stability all over Syria.

He renewed calls for the Syrians to back the national dialogue process and ensure the success of national dialogue, stressing that the coming stage necessitates synchronized efforts to prepare for the reconstruction process.

Al-Halqi emphasized the government’s efforts to enhance the steadfastness of national economy and realize the aspirations of the Syrian people, in addition to the care it accords to the service, educational and health sectors.

Al-Halqi reviewed the committee’s previous meetings with the political forces and parties and popular organizations to crystallize visions and common denominators that ensure the success of the national dialogue which he considers ”the sole way for solving the crisis.”

The premier emphasized the role of the veterinarians’ and agronomist engineers’ syndicates in developing the agricultural sector and livestock in achieving self-sufficiency and food security, not to mention their role in fostering the culture of dialogue and tolerance.

Head of the Syrian Veterinarians Syndicate, Dr. Samir Ismael and Chairperson of the Syndicate of Syrian Agronomist Engineers, Rama Aziz expressed support to the political program for solving the crisis, hailing the government’s efforts to strengthen national economy.

The syndicates’ members laid down their visions for solving the crisis through enhancing communication and tolerance in society and discarding violence, lauding the victories of the Syrian army in al-Qseir.

In a press statement following the meeting, head of the Veterinarians Syndicate said that the political program for solving the crisis ”is the dream of every Syrian,” adding that the syndicate’s members have proposed visions related to improving the living conditions of citizens.

For her part, Aziz stressed to journalists the importance of speeding up the measures necessary for ensuring the success of national dialogue as the sole way for solving the crisis.
