Al- Qaeda’s Nusra terrorists confessed their crimes

Damascus – A number of terrorists confessed to belonging to al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra and committing killing and kidnapping crimes against the citizens, army and law-enforcement forces in Damascus countryside.

In confessions broadcast by the Syrian TV on Monday evening, the terrorists admitted that they formed terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in the area extended from al-Quneitra to al-Zabadani.

They said that they carried out a number of terrorist explosions and smuggling weapons and ammunition from Lebanon to Syria.

The gunmen said that they were calling for jihad in Syria considering this “Jihad as the most important than jihad against Israeli,” legitimatizing the use of all means, including weapons for the establishment of the Islamic caliphate.

They confessed that they booby-trapped a number of cars, manufactured explosive devices and detonated an explosives-laden car in the military housing in Qatana, claiming the lives of a big number of people.

They said that they targeted the armed forces and the citizens in a number of towns in Damascus countryside through detonating a number of explosive devices, causing the killing and injury of a number of the army personnel and civilians.
