Hezbollah firmly rejects any proposals for the extension of a ceasefire

The Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, has stated that the resistance movement firmly rejects any proposal to extend the current ceasefire. He has called for the immediate withdrawal of Israeli forces.

In a televised address on Monday, Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem hailed the Palestinian resistance’s triumph over Israeli forces, referring to them as the “Zionist enemy.”

An official stated that Israeli forces were unable to meet their goals in Gaza, further noting that the combined efforts of Israel and the United States to dismantle the resistance were unsuccessful.

The leader of Hezbollah stated that Israeli authorities would not have endured for even a week without the comprehensive support of the United States.

“The goals of the al-Aqsa Flood Operation have been successfully accomplished,” he stated.

Sheikh Naim Qassem expressed gratitude towards the Iranian government and its citizens for their ongoing support of the Palestinian resistance movement.

“He stated that Israel’s efforts to progress in a ground invasion against Hezbollah were unsuccessful, further noting that Israel’s attempts to create divisions within Lebanon were ultimately ineffective.”

“The resistance maintains an advantage over Israeli forces through dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering resilience,” he added.

Sheikh Qassem announced that the Lebanese resistance has consented to a ceasefire following a request from Israel, which he referred to as the aggressor.

In a recent statement, the leader of Hezbollah accused Israel of breaching the ceasefire agreement on over 1,000 occasions.

He stated that the resistance has successfully developed a sustainable deterrence capability against Israel, emphasizing the critical need for the resistance’s presence in Lebanon to confront the Israeli adversary.

He continued by stating that Israel, in collaboration with the United States, has been unsuccessful in its attempts to dismantle the resistance.

Sheikh Naim Qassem stated that every village in southern Lebanon has come to symbolize resistance against Israel.

The leader of Hezbollah declared that the resistance group will not agree to any extension of the ceasefire agreement, even temporarily.

He stated that Israeli forces must vacate the occupied territories in southern Lebanon in accordance with prior agreements.

“The resistance groups have assigned responsibility to the United Nations, the United States, and France for any postponement in the withdrawal of occupying forces,” he stated.

The leader of Hezbollah firmly stated that the resistance group will not accept any rationale for extending the 60-day timeframe.
