Al-Qassam Snipers Target Four Zionist Soldiers in Northern Gaza
Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades has released video footage showcasing its Resistance fighters engaging in sniper attacks on Israeli soldiers and targeting military equipment as part of an operation dubbed the "Breaking the Sword" ambush.
The Military Media wing of the al-Qassam Brigades has released video footage showing its fighters allegedly targeting four Israeli soldiers and officers in a sniper operation in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Brigades announced that the operation was executed with the use of the locally produced “Ghoul” rifle. The incident occurred on al-Awda Street, situated east of Beit Hanoun.
Footage has emerged depicting al-Qassam fighters engaging in attacks on Israeli military assets using anti-armor shells.
The Al-Qassam Brigades have stated that these operations are a component of the “Breaking the Sword” ambush strategy.
On Friday, the group reported that its Resistance fighters had successfully engaged in sniper operations on Thursday, targeting four Israeli soldiers and officers on al-Awda Street, east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, resulting in casualties among the ranks.
On the same day, Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the Brigades, confirmed that Palestinian Resistance fighters are actively participating in strategic battles, executing meticulously planned ambushes, and waiting for opposing forces in order to deliver significant setbacks.
He emphasized the strategic nature of these operations, highlighting that they are executed at the discretion of the Resistance fighters, in terms of timing, location, and methodology. He further noted that their combat bravery, from Beit Hanoun to Rafah, stands as a point of national pride, a remarkable military feat, and a rallying cry for the youth and forces across the nation.
Abu Obeida emphasized that the fighters are resolute in their stance, fully equipped for engagement with defensive ambushes and combat strategies, committed to their pledge to fight until either victory is achieved or martyrdom is met.

Al-Qassam brigades announced that their fighters successfully targeted an Israeli military Storm vehicle, affiliated with the Combat Intelligence Battalion of the Gaza Division, using an anti-tank shell, resulting in confirmed casualties.
Israeli reinforcements met a deadly ambush as they arrived for a rescue mission, encountering an anti-personnel explosive device that resulted in both fatalities and injuries among the troops.
Al-Qassam announced the targeting of a newly established Israeli military position in the ambush area with four RPG shells, which was subsequently followed by mortar fire. The organization’s military media also released footage depicting the attack on occupying vehicles near the al-Tuffah neighborhood, situated to the east of Gaza City.
