‘All Muslims must support Palestinian resistance’

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said on Sunday it is all Muslim states must support Palestinian resistance to Zionist regime’s occupation.

According to IRNA, he made the remarks in a meeting with the head of Egypt’s Interest Section in Tehran Khalid al-Said Ibrahim Amari.
Jalili said that the Egyptian government is expected to undertake its Islamic role after the Islamic Awakening Movement by supporting Palestinian resistance to Israeli occupation.
He said that the Muslim nations enjoy great potentials to help the defenseless Palestinians vis-a-vis the current Israeli crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Jalili further called for solidarity of the Muslim world with Palestinians suffering from heavy air strikes of Tel Aviv regime.
He said that Zionist regime’s war crimes and crimes against humanity should not undermine the strategy of resistance movement to liberate all occupied lands from Israeli occupation.
Amari welcomed expansion of his country’s ties with Iran and said the Egyptian Revolution and Islamic Awakening changed political equilibrium in the Middle East and brought the regional Islamic governments closer to one another.
Pointing to the importance of Iran’s technological achievements, he called for expansion of mutual relations and sharing Iranian scientific experience.
