All set to celebrate Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) birthday

‘Eid Millad-un-Nabi’ (SAW) will be celebrated throughout Pakistan on Friday with full religious zeal and fervor.

The day will dawn with thirty-one gun salutes in the federal capital and twenty-one gun salute in the provincial Metropolis.

Special prayers will be offered for progress and prosperity of the country and well-being of the Ummah.

It will be a public holiday. The national flag will be hoisted atop all important public and private buildings.

An important feature of the Eid Miladun Nabi celebrations will be a National Seerat Conference in Islamabad.

The theme of the Conference is ‘Concept and importance of the social justice in light of the teachings of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf will be the chief guest.

Prominent ulema and scholars will highlight various aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

Similar‚ provincial level Seerat Conferences will be held in Lahore‚ Karachi‚ Peshawar and Quetta.

Various religious and social organizations have also planned Mahafil-e-Millad.

Millad processions will be taken out in various cities and towns to celebrate the day in a befitting manner.

Mosques‚ buildings‚ markets and main streets have been decorated with colourful banners and lights.

Eid Millad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) functions will also be held in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

TV channels, radio stations will air special programs in national and regional languages to highlight the teachings of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Newspapers will also bring out special supplements.
