Sayyed Safieddine: Resistance Weapons to Remain in Our Clutch

Sayyed Safieddine

Head of Hizbullah Executive Board, His Eminence Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, stated “All those who belong to the resistance’s right beliefs know how to find their way without hesitation or confusion, but those who lost their way are confused, hesitated and jump from one stance to the other.”

During a memorial ceremony in the Southern village of Kfarkila, His Eminence stressed, “We refuse and stand up to secession, and we dissociate ourselves from events so that we push the shadow of secession away.”

“Every day and at every hour, our enemies and their tools attack us with secession so that we give up our resistance. However, we shall not be dragged to secession and the resistance’s weapon will remain in our clutch,” Sayyed Safieddine reiterated.

Moreover, he added, “When the US speaks of Syria in recent months, we feel as if it knows everything about the armed men, their affiliations, the future of Syria, and the field situation. However, when it comes to chemical shelling, universities, hospitals and schools bombing, the US says that it did not investigate and does not know what happened.”
“The US does not want to know, because if it did, it would condemn itself,” he stated.

“This is the destructive US scheme for Syria and the whole region. Nonetheless, we are well aware that the choice of destruction based on US secession is the US’s weak choice in the region, not its strong one,” His Eminence stressed.
“Lebanon faces a critical phase today and the majority must gather for conciliation so we can surpass these crises through an electoral law and a new government,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine noted the “necessity to hasten ratifying an electoral law and forming a government,” calling on other parties “to let go of their failing bids.”
“The main matter is for [March 14] to let go of these bids and mentalities that will not reap but more chaos and tension,” he stressed.
