HAJJ 2023: Imam Ayatollah Khamenei: Hajj to Promote Solidarity among Muslims against ‘israel’ and Arrogance

At a Wednesday meeting with Iranian officials responsible for Hajj pilgrimage and those planning to make the annual pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia’s holy cities of Mecca and Medina, the Leader made his remarks.

Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the Hajj pilgrimage is a way to reinforce unity among Muslim nations in the face of profanity, oppression, arrogance, and human and non-human idols – all of which Islam seeks to oppose and combat.

The Leader declared that the Muslim world must come together and send a unified message to oppose the Israeli government.

The Leader highlighted the importance of standing up to hegemonic powers in the face of the current issue of the world – the influence of arrogant powers.

The Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the importance of having a proper perspective on Hajj and understanding its significance, stating, “Hajj is a global and cultural matter.”

The Leader warned that without the Hajj pilgrimage, the Islamic Ummah would be in danger of collapse.

He urged Muslims who carry out the important Hajj rituals each year to show their strength against the Israeli government and those who are arrogant, and to stand up to the oppressive forces around the world.

At Hajj time, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the need for raising awareness on global matters, especially those related to Palestine, saying, “This is a good time to be informed about the affairs of nations and international issues.”

The Leader remarked that the Hajj rituals emphasize the Islamic rejection of geographic, racial, and socioeconomic divisions.

The leader said that even the so-called civilized countries are still facing racial prejudice between black and white and between Europeans and non-Europeans.

Ayatollah Khamenei has repeatedly warned that the Iranian people and authorities should be mindful of the enemy’s strategies, tactics, objectives, and points of strength and weakness, in order to avoid being duped.

He remarked that if we are informed about global affairs, we can comprehend the adversary’s true objective and the rationale for their insistence on certain concerns.

He stated that Iranian officials had achieved great success in regional and global affairs which have enraged the US, provided that they had acted prudently and correctly.
