Ansarullah: Lasting peace can only be achieved with the repatriation of Palestinians to their homeland
The Ansarullah movement in Yemen has emphasized that lasting peace in the Palestinian territories can only be achieved by the full return of the Palestinian population to their lands.
On Monday, spokesperson Muhammed Abdul Salam commented as a vast number of Palestinians began returning home following a ceasefire agreement between the Gaza Strip’s resistance group Hamas and the Israeli government. This deal aims to conclude Israel’s 15-month-long intense conflict in Gaza.
The official emphasized that the potential repatriation of thousands of displaced Palestinians could pave the way for achieving “real peace,” amidst the regime’s continuing campaign of occupation and aggression in the territories.
Abdul Salam extended his congratulations to the Palestinians returning to the coastal region, characterizing the event as a “powerful demonstration of the Palestinian people’s resilience and unwavering dedication to their homeland.”
He further emphasized that the return was a challenge to the efforts by Israel and its key ally, the United States, to orchestrate a forced displacement of the entire population of Gaza to nearby nations.
Abdul Salam extended congratulations to the people of Gaza for what he described as a triumph against one of the most brutal and bloody conflicts. He highlighted Tel Aviv’s earlier acceptance of a ceasefire agreement, interpreting it as a victory for the resilient Gazan population and their resistance groups over the intense Israeli military offensive.
He further affirmed Yemen’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian struggle for liberation from Israeli occupation and aggression.
Since October 2023, following the initiation of hostilities by the regime, Yemen has conducted numerous retaliatory strikes targeting sensitive and strategic sites in Israel. These operations have reportedly inflicted significant economic repercussions on Tel Aviv.
Abdul Salam praised the resilience of the people in Gaza and Lebanon, highlighting their unwavering resolve in the face of intensified Israeli military actions. He noted that global admiration has been drawn by their steadfastness during these challenging times.
He noted that the confrontation effectively rendered the US-backed Israeli arsenal inoperative.
A high-ranking official has declared that confronting Israeli and American policies is deemed the most secure and effective strategy for the peoples in the West Asia region.
