Anti-Islam Movie Sparks Protests in Afghanistan

Thousands of Afghan people took to the streets in Eastern Afghanistan in protest against a recent desecration of Islam in a sacrilegious movie produced by an American-Israeli man in the US.

Hundreds of Afghans shouting “Death to America” staged rallies against the blasphemous movie in the Eastern city of Jalalabad.

Meantime, President Hamid Karzai postponed a trip to Norway, fearing violence.

The anti-Islam film has drawn condemnation from several countries including Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, Libya, Somalia and Sudan, etc.

In Iran, millions of Iranians in Tehran and other cities across the country held nationwide rallies in protest against the recent desecration of Islam.

The Iranian protesters chanted “Death to the US” and “Death to Israel” slogans, expressing disgust at the US and the Zionist regime’s anti-Islam policies.
