Any conspiracy targeting Iran-Iraq ties should be foiled, VP

First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said here on Sunday that any plot aimed at damaging the existing relations between the Iranian and Iraqi nations should be foiled through vigilance.

The first VP made the remark while addressing inaugural ceremony of an exhibition on the provincial exports as well as its technical and engineering services.

Rahimi said the two neighboring countries are close friends, adding that conspiracies designed in the region are against friendship and amicable ties between the two brotherly nations and governments.
