Army assumes control of more areas in Aleppo countryside

Army1Units of the armed forces on Friday assumed full control of several areas in the countryside of Aleppo and continued razing terrorists’ gatherings in other areas.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army recaptured Beit Jneid quarry and the electricity station of al-Mantiqa al-Thalitha after having eliminated the terrorists’ last gathering in those areas.
Other army units razed dens and gatherings for terrorists in the areas of Marei, al-Mansoura, al-Zurbeh, Kafr Hamra, Tall Raf’at, Khan Touman, Deir Hafer, al-Lairamoun, the industrial area and al-Shaar in the countryside. Numbers of terrorists were left dead and wounded as a result of the operations.
Units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Idleb countryside, killing scores of terrorists, some of them were non-Syrians, in addition to destroying their weapons and equipment .
A military source told SANA that the army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the area surrounding Saraqib and Sarjeh cities and on Saraqib-Taftanaz road, killing a number of terrorists, in addition to destroying many vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns.
Meanwhile, other army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Haila, Daoud Hill, Bab allah, Koreen, Abu al-Zober, Balas, Marzouf, Binnish, Hantoteen, Kfar Rouma and Sejar in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring many of them, in addition to destroying their equipment.
In Damascus Countryside, the army restored security and stability to the hills and plains between Rankous and al-Zabadani after eliminating armed terrorist groups comprising terrorists from non-Syrian nationalities, including from Saudi Arabia, and destroying their gatherings, hideouts and weaponry.
SANA field reporter said the army units clashed with terrorists in al-Mleiha and Ein Tirma in the eastern al-Ghouta, among the killed terrorists were Yousef al-Khabutly and Mutasem Darwish.
The army eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group in Adra workers City, among them was Mohammad Salman al-Batali from Saudi Arabia. The army units also targeted terrorist hideouts in Joubar Neighborhood and killed a number of terrorists. Terrorists Abdullah al-Beijawi from Iraq and Muftah al-Barasli from Libya were identified among the dead.
Files of 20 gunmen from al-Qaboun area were settled after they handed over themselves and their weapons to authorities and vowed not to commit any act that could undermine the stability and security of the homeland.
In Hama countryside, an army unit killed and injured all members of an armed terrorist group in the eastern side of Morek town and confiscated their weapons, which included machineguns and rocket launching pads.
The army units eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in Homs countryside.
A military source told SANA that the army units stormed terrorists’ gatherings in Arshoniyeh and al-Barghuthiyeh, al-Rastan, al-Taybeh, KfarLaha, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
The army units targeted members of an armed terrorist group in Sharaf Street in Khan al-Sheeh in Damascus Countryside, killing 12 terrorists and injuring 23 others.
