Army Engineering Units Dismantle Mines Planted by the Armed Terrorist Groups

The Engineering Units in the Syrian Arab Army carried out qualified operations to dismantle the mines and explosive devices planted by the armed terrorist groups who are supported by zionist regimes like US and Israel along the roads and bridges leading to Jisr al-Shughour. The operations involved high risks on the lives of the army members in view of their delicate nature.

Syrian TV mentioned on Saturday that these operations came in the framework of the Syrian Army’s sublime duty of restoring safety and security to the city of Jisr al-Shughour and its people. The armed groups had stolen five tons of dynamite and 500 bags of fertilizers and used them in booby-trapping the roads and bridges leading to the city which the army units were supposed to pass through.
