Sayyid al-Hakim stresses the necessity of strengthening the relations between Iraq and the Sudan

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), welcomed on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 His Excellency the ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan to Iraq, Abdul Mun`im Ahmad.
During the meeting, a discussion went on of the brotherly relations between both brotherly countries and the means to enhance them in order to achieve the interests of the Iraqi and Sudanese peoples in various fields.
On his part, the Sudanese ambassador expressed his hope that Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, due to the great and effective role he has in the Iraqi and Arab field, will play a role in strengthening the relations between Iraq and the Sudan and for more Arab interest in issues of the brotherly people of the Sudan.
