Bahrain’s Sheikh Qassim Condemns Threats Against Supreme Leader as Insult to Muslim Community
Bahrain’s leading religious figure, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, has declared that any threat directed at the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, is considered a provocation to the entire Muslim community.

In a statement released on Thursday, Sheikh Qassim vehemently denounced Trump’s threats directed towards Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
He stated that Trump’s insults and threats demonstrate his ignorance, foolishness, and a lack of precision in evaluating issues and their implications.
Trump’s actions represent an offense to Muslims and their sanctities, imposing a significant responsibility on all dignified Muslim nations, he stated.
A prominent cleric from Bahrain praised Ayatollah Khamenei as an exemplary embodiment of Qur’anic principles and a distinctive leader of the contemporary period.
He underscored Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership in Iran, highlighting the Leader’s crucial role as a testament to his genuine devotion to the Holy Qur’an.
In his characteristically harsh rhetoric last week, Trump launched an offensive against Ayatollah Khamenei, accusing him of thwarting efforts by the Israeli regime and the United States military to target him for assassination.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, recently urged Trump to demonstrate respect towards Ayatollah Khamenei as a crucial step if a genuine agreement with Iran is desired.
A senior diplomat stated on social media that if Trump sincerely seeks a deal, he should abandon the disrespectful and unacceptable rhetoric directed at Iran’s supreme leader, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei.
On June 22, the United States reportedly engaged in military action alongside Israel by targeting three nuclear sites in Iran, actions that have been criticized for potentially breaching the United Nations Charter and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
