In a recent statement, Sheikh Yusuf Jamali strongly denounced the actions of the Zionist regime, emphasizing the significance of Qods as a pivotal spiritual site. He highlighted its importance as the location of the Prophet of Islam’s ascension, the birthplace of Imam Shafei, and the resting place of numerous prophets, describing it as a land symbolizing the unity of Abrahamic religions. As reported by Pars Today via IRNA, the Sunni scholar urged for worldwide solidarity in championing the rights and support of the Palestinian people, acknowledging Qods’ profound place in religious history and embrace of great prophets.

Dismissing the assertion of Jewish historical sovereignty in Palestine, he stated that during the two notable conquests of Jerusalem by Muslims, control was held by Christians. Sheikh Jamali criticized Western governments, particularly the United States, labeling them as supporters of what he termed the child-killer Zionist regime. He urged Islamic nations to unite and intensify global pressure in an effort to halt these alleged crimes.
