Barhoum: Razing Jerusalemite homes racist

A Hamas spokesman described on Wednesday the Israeli occupation authorities’ demolition of Jerusalemite homes as a serious, racist aggression that should be resisted.

Fawzi Barhoum told the PIC that such aggression should be stopped because it is aimed at imposing Jewish sovereignty on Jerusalem and altering its landmarks and displacing its natives for the sake of prevailing the “Zionist” project.

He urged all Palestinians to shoulder their responsibilities in defense of the Palestinian land and holy shrines regardless of sacrifices.

Barhoum said that in the absence of international just there should be a strong Arab-Islamic strategy to confront the unlimited American support for Israel and to delegitimize and criminalize occupation and force it to halt its schemes.
