The Syrian Army’s offensives against the positions of the ISIL terrorist group in the Western side of al-Hadher region in the Southern part of Aleppo province ended after inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorist group.

In addition to their victory in al-Hadher region, the Syrian forces pounded the ISIL militants in Kafernaha.

The Syrian army also destroyed the ISIL terrorists’ machinegun-equipped vehicles in the village of Hazazeh in Aleppo province.

The pro-government forces also carried out massive attacks against the ISIL in the Eastern part of the Aleppo province.

The Syrian Army alongside popular forces and Hezbollah fighters continued their joint operation against a few pockets of ISIL terrorists that have still remained in some regions in the Eastern part of Aleppo province.

The pro-government forces gained access to the strategic hilltops that the ISIL used to fire repeated rounds of mortar shells and rockets into the Kuweires Military Airport.

After hours of fierce cashes and Aqulah village under their control on Monday, the Tiger Forces of the Syrian army will set their sights on the important hilltop village of Tal Al-Ahmar; if captured, the ISIL will no longer be able to rain mortar shells and rockets into the Kuweires Military Airport while seeking cover around the hilltops surrounding the village.

In the meantime, North of the Kuweires Military Airport, the Syrian army’s 2nd Division – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Aleppo city and Hezbollah – seized more points along the Aleppo-Raqqa Highway, pushing further East of the Kuweires Military Airport and the village of Rasm ‘Abboud.
