IAEA committed to continuing negotiations: Herman Nackaerts

Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency says the agency is committed to continuing negotiations, in Vienna airport on his return from Tehran.
According to MNA reporter in Vienna, Herman Nackaerts, the head of IAEA negotiation team told reporters that the agency is committed to continuing negotiations and added that “we need more time to advance the negotiation process.”

Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Iran’s envoy to IAEA, who was heading the Iran negotiation team, talked about intensive negotiation between Iran and IAEA during an interview and said “while resolving some of the differences and agreements on some issues, the parties agreed to review the new proposed draft on the modalities agreements and decide on the next meeting.”

In a letter to the President of the UN Security Council, Mohammad Khazaei, Iran’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations, emphasized that “Iran is very serious about the negotiations with 5+1 group, and expects that the other side is also serious about the new round of talks, scheduled for 26th of Feb 2013, in Kazakhstan and will achieve effective and positive outcomes.”

Iran and IAEA held talks in Tehran while a new round of talks between Iran and 5+1 group will be held on the 26th of Feb 2013 in Kazakhstan.
