ISIS Continues Massive Retreat in Eastern Aleppo as the Tiger Forces Liberate the Village of Nasrallah

Moments ago in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside, the Syrian Arab Army’s elite special operations division known as the “Tiger Forces” – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Aleppo City and Al-Salamiyah; Hezbollah; and Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalions) – imposed full control over the village of Nasrallah after a violent confrontation with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) at the northern outskirts of the Kuweires Military Airport.

According to a battlefield journalist that is embedded with the Tiger Forces near the Kuweires Military Airport, the Syrian Armed Forces cleared the entire area surrounding the ICARDA Farms; this paved the way for the pro-government forces to seize the village of Nasrallah this evening from ISIS.

With the village of Nasrallah under their full control, the Tiger Forces and their allies are now in position to cross into the Al-Baab Plains after a three year long absence from this front in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside; this area is deeply entrenched with ISIS combatants as their strongholds of Menbaj and Al-Baab are located in this region.

South of the Kuweires Military Airport, the Syrian Arab Army’s Tiger Forces and their allies are currently combatting ISIS at the strategic hilltop village of Tal Al-Ahmar; if captured, the airbase will be completely secure at its southern perimeter.
