Terror groups extensively use US-made weapons

Iraqi sources recently disclosed that American defense department in the US embassy in Baghdad has officially asked Iraqi government for permission to fly two aircrafts to Tal Afar in northwestern Iraq, Nineveh province.

Iraqi authorities questioned the demand since Tal Afar is under ISIS control. In October 2014, ISIS bragged that it recovered air-dropped weapons and supplied that US military intended deliver to Kurdish fighters in northern Syria.

The incident raised concerns about the actual receivers of the US-made weapons originally intended for the US-backed fighters. Both blacklisted terror groups, ISIS and Jabhet al-Nusr, have been extensively using US-made weapons against Syrian and Iraqi Armies.
