Bomb hits near French consulate in Iraqi city of Nassiriya

A bomb blast outside the French consulate building in Iraq’s Nassiriya has left at least two people injured, just minutes after two fatal blasts in north of the country.

The incident occurred after a car bomb went off outside the building on Sunday, wounding at least two people, police said.

Nassiriya city, 300 km (185 miles ) south of Baghdad was hit by a bombing against Muslims’ Shia pilgrims at the start of this year.
