BREAKING: Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham terrorists pound Aleppo International Airport with missiles

Moments ago, Aleppo International Airport was struck by a series of Grad missiles, causing material damage and leaving a massive crater on an air strip, thereby rendering it useless.

The missiles were launched from the western Aleppo countryside, an area controlled by Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham, a coalition of merged jihadist groups.

Failaq al-Sham also claimed responsibility for the missile barrage:

No casualties have been reported yet.

Aleppo International Airport was reopened in late December after the liberation of the provincial capital.

Meanwhile, sporadic clashes occurred in rural areas south of Aleppo city over the past week, suggesting this front-line may witness an offensive in the weeks to come.
