BRICS Countries: Resolving Crisis in Syria Realized only Through Dialogue

India’s National Security advisor, Shiv Shankar Menon, reiterated the BRICS countries’ rejection of any foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs, saying that resolving the crisis in this country can be achieved only through a national dialogue.

In a press conference following a meeting of national security advisors of BRICS nations in New Delhi on Thursday, Menon noted that BRICS group including Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa considers the foreign military intervention in Syria as “impossible.”

“The solution can only be achieved through the dialogue and the Syrians alone should decide their future.”He concluded.
