Brigadier General Ali Habib is in Syria and his family denies Reuters reports

The family of Brigadier General Ali Habib has confirmed that the retired General is at his village in Tartous province, pointing out that Gen. Habib has mocked the rumors and refused to comment on what was reported by the Reuters news agency, which was described as unprofessional, and not even worth to be responded at.

In the same context, an official source denied all the rumors about the former Defense Minister, Gen. Ali Habib leaving Syria.
The official source pointed out that such rumors will increase at the same time as Damascus is living a media and psychological war on a potential aggression against Syria, noting that ignoring these rumors is the best way to fight them.
