According to IRIB World Service, in an interview with Fars news agency, this police spokesperson said that based on a court ruling, Camp Ashraf which is currently the place of residence of more than 80 MKO operatives will be completely shut down next week and after the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.
Eighty MKO terrorists have remained at Camp Ashraf under the pretext of selling their assets and collecting their documents.
The Iraqi government and the UN signed an agreement on December 2011 for transference of the MKO terrorists from Camp Ashraf in eastern Iraq to Liberty Base in the vicinity of Baghdad. Thousands of MKO terrorists were transferred to Liberty Base on September 2012 to be finally transferred to other countries.
The former Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, allowed the MKO operatives to reside in Camp Ashraf to employ these terrorists against Islamic Republic of Iran in the eight-year imposed war and to seek the assistance of these terrorists in the suppression of opposition groups in Iraq by the former Iraqi dictator.
