Car production up by 14.6% in Iran

Production of different types of cars have increased in Iran by 14.6 percent.

Over 1.1 million cars have been made in Iran during the past nine months.

983,927 sedans have been produced during the period which shows 15.7 percent increase compared to past year, IRIB reported.

Iranian car manufactures have also produced 138,518 pickup trucks, 26,542 trucks, 2,572 minibus and 1,895 buses during the time.

The companies have also made 137,862 different types of cars from Nov 22 to Dec 21, 2010.
