Casualties Mount in Gaza as Israeli Offensive Intensifies

The Israeli military sustained its offensive operations in the Gaza Strip overnight and throughout Thursday, resulting in significant casualties among civilians.

According to local media reports, Israeli forces persisted today in their operations of demolishing homes and displacing families in the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the ongoing humanitarian crisis as the region’s population faces a deteriorating famine situation.

Since early morning today, reports indicate that at least 55 Palestinian civilians, including 12 individuals seeking aid, have lost their lives in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip.

Reports from the Palestinian Information Center indicate that Israeli assaults persist throughout the Gaza Strip. Specifically, an Israeli strike targeted a gathering near the Zeitoun police station in Gaza City, resulting in multiple casualties and injuries.

In northern Gaza’s Jabalia al-Balad, an airstrike by the Israeli military reportedly resulted in the deaths of eleven individuals and left numerous others injured. The strike targeted a residence belonging to the Asila family.

Israeli drones conducted strikes on densely populated streets lined with tents in the neighborhoods of an-Nasr and Tel al-Hawa in Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of five individuals and causing injuries to dozens.

A significant number of casualties, including fatalities, have been reported following an Israeli artillery strike targeting individuals seeking aid in the southwest of Khan Yunis, located in the southern region of Gaza.

In a recent incident, ten individuals lost their lives and numerous others sustained injuries as the Israeli military targeted tents accommodating displaced families in the ash-Shati refugee camp, located west of Gaza City.

A drone strike near the Dabit junction in western Gaza resulted in the death of a child and left several others injured.
