Thousands of Gazans perform Tarawih prayer

Thousands of Gazans performed Tarawih prayer on Friday night which marks the first night of the month of Ramadan.

The worshipers were forced to pray in the dark or dim lights due to the ongoing electricity crisis with 18 hours of power outage a day.

The Grand Mufti of the Palestinian territories Sheikh Mohammed Hussein announced on Friday that Saturday is the first day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan in Palestine.

On this occasion, the Palestinian Information Center congratulates the people of the Arab and Muslim nations, especially the Palestinian people, over the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
