Civilians in Terrorist-Held Idlib Province Suffering from Acute Lack of Medical Treatment

Lack of specialists, medicine, healthcare and medical equipment has significantly increased since the terrorist groups captured Northwestern Idlib province, local people said.
“Actually, the health situation of civilians in Idlib is truely bad. If a patient comes to need a surgical operation, he or she will certainly die. On the other hand, terrorists take out injured people’s organ in their medical centers and smuggle them to Turkey,” the sources said.
“Some civilians risk and leave Idlib secretively to transfer their ill family-members to government-controlled regions to be treated there free of charge, but those patients who stay in this bloody city will surely pass away,” they added.
“There are several illegal pharmacies in Idlib that are run by traders not doctors, which itself represents another threat to the health of people in the city,” the sources underlined.
