Cleric hails Shia Sunni solidarity in Iran’s northern Khorasan Province
Friday prayer leader of Bojnourd, in a meeting with Sunni clerics and elites in the region, hailed Islamic Revolution as a great gift for the Iranian nation and said,” Despite the desperate struggles of the enemies to undermine Islamic unity in Iran, there is proper relations between the Shia and Sunni Muslims.”
Head of the Cultural Council in the province, referred to the unique solidarity between Islamic denominations in northern Khorasan noted the unity as a privilege of God Almighty and said, “A reason for the unity between Shia and Sunni Muslims is the proper stance of the scholars.”
According the scholar religious leaders should be trusted as guiding lights for the people saying,” To win the trust of the people is a blessing which should be safeguarded” and demanded scholars to struggle for boosting unity between the people.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Yaghoubi said the unity between Shia and Sunni Muslims in Northern Khorasan should be set as role model in the world of Islam and that all policies should be adapted in line with advantages of the nation and based on Islamic solidarity.
