Nothing to happen in Iran 2013 election: Police Chief

Iran 2013 election
Iran Police Chief says there are necessary preparations for the election among security officials, and based on observations, they do not anticipate any problems.
During the fortieth day after the death of Ayatollah Agha Mojtaba Tehrani, Brig. Gen. Esmail Ahmadi Moghadam provided comments on holding free elections and said “the enemy has always been trying to induce the lack of ‘free election’, so that they announce to people that people’s vote was ineffective. They are trying to show that their presence is inconspicuous.”

He added that “people are not listening to the enemy, and they showed that on the 22nd of Bahman. They are doing their own business.”

Ahmadi Moghadam also said that “police will monitor the situation, so that they can identify and prevent insecurity, turmoil and possibility of intrigue during the election.”
