Hezbollah Fighters Advance in Arsal Highlands, Inflict Heavy Losses on Nusra Terrorists

Hezbollah fighters were advancing in Arsal Highlands on Sunday, in the third day of the battle to cleanse the area of Nusra Front Takfiri terrorists.

Hezbollah Military Media Center reported that the Lebanese resistance fighters took control of Wadi Al-Owaini, which is considered an important post of Nusra terrorists.

The center added that Hezbollah fighters took control of Shubat Al-Qalaa, east of Arsal Highlands, noting that the post is strategic since it is the highest in the area.

Meanwhile, the Media Center reported that heavy losses were inflicted upon the Takfiri insurgents, noting that 46 Nusra terrorists have been  killed in Arsal Highlands, while 23 others have been killed in Flita barrens in Syria’s West Qalamoun since the start of the battle early on Friday.

The resistance fighters, backed by Lebanese and Syrian army launched early on Friday a battle to clear Nusra Front terrorists from Arsal Highlands which lie at the Lebanese-Syrian border.
