Zionist regime OKs new illegal settlers units

The Zionist regime has approved the construction of 69 new illegal settler units in East al-Quds, despite widespread international criticism of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to IRIB, a Zionist official said on Wednesday the settler homes will be built in Har Homa, a settlement neighborhood in the southern sector of East al-Quds which Zionist regimeoccupied in 1967.
On June 13, a Zionist regime regime spokesman said that Tel-Aviv would build more than 1,000 new illegal units in two West Bank settlements namely Itamar and Bruchin.
On the same day, Nabil Shaath, an adviser to acting Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas, said the latest Zionist regime move shows Tel Aviv “is destroying the two-state solution and the prospects of a peace deal in deeds and words.”
On June 15, Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon criticized the settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank, calling the move a “violation of international law.”
