Damascus: Jeish Al-Islam Terrorists Sustain Heavy Losses in Army Offensive in Eastern Ghouta

The Jeish al-Islam terrorist group’s military positions came under the Syrian army’s heavy attacks in Hosh Nasri region in Eastern Ghouta.

The Syrian army’s artillery units also pounded the terrorists’ military positions in the surrounding areas of Zumalka region in Damascus countryside.

On Saturday, the Syrian military forces struck the terrorist groups’ concentration centers and gatherings in Eastern Ghouta, inflicting dozens of casualties on the militants.

The Syrian army soldiers clashed with a group of terrorists in Eastern Ghouta and did not allow them to advance in the region.

Also on Friday, the Syrian army continued its military advances in Eastern Ghouta in the countryside of Damascus, and seized back more regions.

The army units pushed deeper inside al-Reihan farms and took more areas along the factories road in Eastern Ghouta, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.

“The Syrian army units foiled an attempt by the terrorists to attack their military positions in Eastern Ghouta,” a military source further added.

Meantime, the Syrian fighter jets raided the terrorists’ military positions in the town of Douma in Damascus countryside.
