Dastjerdi condoles Mogadishu on counterpart’s demise

Minister of Health Marzieh Vahid Dastjerdi cabled a message of condolence to Somali government and nation on the passing away of her counterpart Qamar Aden Ali in recent Mogadishu blast.

Condemning the inhumane terrorist act in her message, Dastjerdi asked head of Somali Health Ministry to condole Somali government and nation on behalf of her and Iranian Health Ministry officials on the tragic incident.

She hoped that there will no more be such sorrowful incidents once peace and security are restored in Somalia.

According to the Islamic republic news agency, Somali ministers of health, education, higher education and Sports lost their lives in a terrorist attack at a graduation ceremony in Mogadishu on December 3, 2009.
