London rally to end Israel siege of Gaza

Peace activists will hold a rally in central London next week to demand the end of Israel’s three-year siege of Gaza, IRNA quoted the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) as saying.

The group said the gathering was being held next Tuesday, the second anniversary of the ending of Israel’s carnage of Gaza, in which more than 1,400 Palestinians, mainly women and children, were killed.

“Two years on, Gaza’s infrastructure has still not been repaired due to Israel’s blockade. Families are still living in tents. UN schools are unable to rebuild as Israel blocks concrete and building supplies,” the PSC said.

Last month, hundreds of pro-Palestinian supporters held a two-hour vigil outside the Israeli Embassy in London to mark the second anniversary of the start of Israel’s three week bloodletting on December 27.
