ZO kills freed prisoner by contaminated blood

The freed prisoner Mohamed Abdel-Afo Al Emla (26 years), from the village of Beit Ula west of Al Khalil, was martyred on Wednesday 3/2/2010, after suffering acute kidney failure after being treated by contaminated medicine in the Zionist jails.

Medical sources said that the martyr was martyred in Al Khalil governmental hospital after suffering acute kidney failure, pointing out that the hospital refused to transfer him to Jordan for treatment despite receiving approval from the authorities.

The martyr’s brother, Bassam Al Emla, confirmed that his brother had suffered kidney disease developed into a sharp kidney failure nearly two and a half years before the release from Zionist jails, the kidney disease occurred after the occupation in Al Ramla prison treated Mohammed’s eyes with contaminated medicine, causing active viruses in the kidneys and liver.

Bassam pointed out that his father donated to hid kidney for his brother, but his body did not accept it, and he suffered difficult health situation.

He accused the Zionist occupation of killing his brother, and explained that the occupation targeted him by injecting him with ‘illegal treatment’ to assassinate him, which led to his martyrdom.

He pointed out that his brother was captured once in the occupation jails in 2004 and was released in 2007, and he spent nearly 3 years of administrative detention, without any charge against him; he is a married and father of a 40-day-old child.

Medical tests showed that he suffered from sharp kidney failure, and water on the lungs, cirrhosis of the heart; his brother said that the martyr told him before death that all of these diseases occurred to him within the prison, and the occupying forces refused to treat in the context of targeting Palestinian prisoners and tortured.
