Spokesman Rejects Death of Ansarullah Leader’s Brother in Sa’ada

Abdulsalam’s remarks came after the Arabic-language Al-Arabiya news channel claimed that Badr al-Houthi had been killed in air raids by the Saudi-led fighter jets on al-Seifi region in Northern Sa’ada near the borders with Saudi Arabia.

On Sunday, Saudi Arabia conducted fresh air raids on Sa’ada, claiming the lives of tens of civilians.

The Saudi fighter jets bombarded the residential areas in Bani Moin region of Sa’ada, and took more civilian lives.

Many people’s houses were also destroyed in the Saudi airstrikes.

The Saudi fighter jets continued their air raids on the Yemeni provinces on Sunday, killing at least 12 civilians, most of them women and children.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 250 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 7,022 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
